Summary
A blown fuse at the Continental Avenue Master Tower cut power to the signaling system on the Queens Boulevard Line on July 26, 2021, freezing signals between 63rd Drive-Rego Park and Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike; the signal system itself was down for nearly 4 hours, forcing crews to reset signals by hand and delaying 89 trains on the E, F, M and R lines.
